White Oleander

White Oleander by Janet Fitch is an intriguing novel. Published in 1999, it is quite wordy, but we love it, because the words are **artsy**. I quote this novel AMAP (as much as possible), and I recommend that everyone carve out some time to read it. This novel is a bildungsroman about a girl named Astrid, and while at time she has some rough patches, we all want to cheer for her. She has some #mommyissues.
